GPS Sampling for Variable Input
Our system can sample to a grid size of your choosing. Normally a 1ha grid is used but it can be any size. To create a variable rate input map multi-point analysis is needed, and the smaller the grid the higher number of analysis points per field giving a more detailed map.
Our data can then be used as a guide to vary your own inputs or loaded into most application systems capable of applying variable fertiliser rates. We have also worked with Omex to provide variable rate liquid fertiliser solutions for contractors. Most major contractors applying solids or liquids can use our variable rate maps. We will provide digital files which can be loaded into practically any variable rate enabled controller to apply nutrients to our variable rate plan.

GPS Soil Nutrient Mapping has become much more popular following the greater adoption of on-farm GPS systems and the recent increases in the price of fertiliser. Important cost savings can be made using variable rate fertiliser applications.
