GPS Land and Soil Mapping
Using the very latest in GPS ( Global Positioning Satellite ) technology, Fresh Produce Consultancy Ltd are pleased to be able to offer the following new services to Farmers, Growers or Land Agents.

Field Mapping and Measuring
Using a high accuracy dual band frequency DGPS receiver on an ATV quad we can survey fields by driving the field boundary. The manoeuvrability of a quad allows a greater degree of accuracy than tractor based systems.

Our software is the latest and utilises the Farmworks Sitemate and Farmade AMAIS systems, the resulting maps are compatible with Farmade recording systems or can be viewed as stand alone either digitally on your PC or on paper.

Mapping and Measuring Services Can Provide:-

1. Third party confirmation of field areas for negotiating land rental.

2. Field maps including features such as watercourses for LERAP assessments, irrigation abstraction points for licenses, grass margins, hedgerows for stewardship and payment schemes .

3. Set-aside or payment scheme base area measurement and mapping.

4. Incorporation of planting or sowing plans to GPS map.

5. Measure drainage pipe lengths, mark and position drains, wet holes, bog oaks, outflows, abstraction points or other field features.
